The other day I was in the basement and discovered my printer/scanner lying on top of a bunch of boxes. I'd completely forgotten that I had gotten one as a sort of bonus with the purchase of my laptop! I dusted the thing off, brought it upstairs and immediately began sorting through old artwork. What to show, what to show? My first instinct was to do sketchbook pages. The following images are from the Rome sketchbook, dubbed "Niente." There are only a select few right now, as the scanner surface is smaller than a double-spread of the book; Photoshop refused to couple some of the pages. Allora, adesso! The early pages:
